TOOLS THAT KEEP THE WORK CONNECTED

From a single rep
to the whole picture.

Film with context

One game, every unit. Grade the responsibility, capture the observation, and keep no-snap events separate.

Teach it visually

Draw assignments, change opponent fronts, and walk through a play’s phases. Use drill instructions with cues and progressions.

A plan you can act on

Connect individual goals with practice periods and define what a successful rep looks like.

Progress you can explain

Compare games with sample sizes, unit context, and athlete reflections. Recognize growth and consistent contributions.

BUILT FROM THE COACHING ROUTINE

A grade should lead
somewhere useful.

ReadyByRep began with offensive and defensive line film review: what did the player do, what needed attention, and how would we work on it at practice?

That same question now connects game review, development goals, practice planning, playbooks, and athlete feedback. The person guiding development brings the judgment. ReadyByRep helps keep the work connected.

YOUR FIRST STEPS

Start with a manageable slice.

  1. 1. Explore and request access

Tell us who you support and what you want to improve. A school affiliation is optional.

  2. 2. Set up your athletes

After access is arranged, add your players and positions. The in-app Start here guide walks you through setup.

  3. 3. Review, practice, repeat

Begin with a short film sequence, one goal, and a clear practice task. Review the next relevant reps.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few practical answers.

Do I need to coach a school team?

No. ReadyByRep welcomes parents and guardians, school staff, private coaches, trainers, and other programs invested in athlete growth. You can request access for an individual or a group. The current tools and teaching examples focus on football.

What does ‘coach’ mean here?

Coach is the workspace for the person guiding development. That may be a parent, a private trainer, or a member of a coaching staff. Access is approved and scoped to the athletes and programs you are authorized to support; choosing a role on the request form does not grant access to existing teams.

How do I get started, and what does it cost?

Take the public tour, then request access. ReadyByRep is being developed with early users, and access is arranged individually. Availability, setup, and any applicable pricing or pilot terms will be confirmed before you commit. Submitting a request does not create an account or a paid subscription.

Can I keep using my current film platform?

Yes. Review film in your existing player, then record game and play references, grades, and observations in ReadyByRep. You can save film links and timestamps. ReadyByRep does not currently import or automatically grade your Hudl or QwikCut film.

What do athletes see?

Athletes see feedback, goals, and practice work shared with them, and can submit their own game reflections. Coaches can also share Unit Progress: alphabetical teammate summaries, changes over time, and approved recognition. Private staff notes remain in the coaching workspace.

Does a completed drill mean the athlete improved?

Completion records participation. Coaches assess the skill against a clear standard and review subsequent comparable game reps to check progress. Reports show grading coverage and sample sizes so the numbers have context.

Can we use it on phones?

Yes. ReadyByRep runs in a browser on phones, tablets, and computers. A dedicated App Store or Google Play app is not currently offered.

Will a published report stay up to date?

Yes. Once shared, saved grading changes update the athlete’s report. Coaches control which reports and unit boards are shared.

ONE ATHLETE. A WHOLE PROGRAM. A NEXT STEP.
